The company INTERPACK s.r.o. was established in 1996. Until then, it has been engaged in production and in-house development using the life cycle assessment method of products or services regarding their environmental impact LCA—”life cycle assessment.”
INTERPACK was initially based in Jičín and, in 2020, became part of FOL-Obal, which expanded its portfolio thanks to the acquisition. FOL-Obal’s headquarters in Doksy became the company’s headquarters, where both companies are constantly striving to build and grow their expertise in packaging materials and their ecological impact. Our priority is to take care of the environment and the health and safety of our employees.

Sustainable packaging
We design custom packaging responsibly while assessing the environmental impact of packaging production, its value and functionality, reusability, and recyclability, concerning our company's economic and ecological interests. Sustainable packaging must protect the product, provide seamless transportation, inform and win over consumers, be easily recyclable, and leave a low carbon footprint. At the end of its life cycle, it should serve as an input material for new products.
Circular economy
Once it loses functionality, all packaging becomes a waste straining the environment. The essential idea of the circular economy is to minimize waste. Once the waste has been generated, we need to find a way to reuse it through a new life cycle. The LCA method helps us identify how close we are to this ideal state in the production, use, and subsequent recycling of our customers' packaging, emphasizing evaluating the packaging in terms of its environmental impact.
